How are you sooo good!!
I find it so hard to believe how you can just start out with nothing and create something so surreal!

All of your landscapes looks so beautiful!
I'm curious though, did you use a reference for all of them or did they come out of your own mind?

I use a reference for some parts, like the ship on this one. The sky and water usually just come from my mind though. (:

Beautiful! And since you like words of advice, I will give you one. Just constructive critcicsm :)
You could let the light of the sun reflected by the water show up on the sails a bit more. Just let them appear less white, especially on the left edge. I think this would even enhance this amazing painting more.

I've been trying to study light and how it reflects lately, so your comment definitely helps! Thanks for the word of advice! <3 I'll work on lighting and reflecting more in my upcoming artworks.

If you are looking for good books about lighting and color, I can recommend James Gurney, Color and Light. It covers all the basics you need to know (like color wheels, harmony,...) and points out details you should observe

Photoshop Elements. It comes with the tablet.
It seems small from the description, but when drawing on it it feels really natural.. when you get the hang of it, that is. It's good for beginners and when you're just starting out using a tablet.. I'd recommend this one if you've never used a tablet before. (:

Just a bit of advice. n_n
Usually, the name of the ship is painted in a bright color. That way, people seeing it from a distance can read it and have an idea of who it is. People looking through a long-glass would need to be able to identify the ship, just in case it were a pirate ship. Every captain wanted to be known for the work they did, and that usually meant being known as the captain of a certain ship.

I can't read the name of this ship because it is to dark. Try some touches of light grey around or inside of each letter to make it more distinct. This will make it look as if the name has been painted using white or silver. And if not that, try out some other light shades of other colors until you find one that you think would work. :)

um.. I didn't add a name to this ship, which is probably why you can't see it. (:

Well, it looks like there are letters on the side that isn't really dark, so I thought that's what you were trying to do. :$
